LBUSD – as a part of its commitment to operating efficiently and fostering healthy learning spaces for students – engaged RHA to help reduce the district’s energy consumption and carbon emissions.
RHA audited LBUSD facilities to determine district energy consumption and provided staff with recommendations for alternative energy sources and energy-efficient and sustainability practices. RHA assisted the district in securing California Schools Healthy Air, Plumbing and Efficiency funding to complete efficiency projects and provided construction management services for the associated plumbing and the HVAC ventilation project. RHA also assists the district with renewable energy projects, such as solar, and develops and manages the district’s energy management and sustainability programs and efficiency standards.
